WEDDING FAQs
What should I wear?
Dress Code: Colorful Semi-Formal Dress to impress in your favorite colors! We'd love to see you in bright hues and fun florals. For the ladies, knee-length or floor-length dresses are perfect. For the gentlemen, a suit or dress pants with a collared shirt is great. Please help us keep the party palette colorful by leaving the white, black, and blue outfits at home
What time should I arrive?
The Bride and Groom request that you arrive at the venue no later than 3:30PM. The Ceremony starts promptly at 4:00PM.
Is the Ceremony/Reception indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony is outdoors. Seating will be visable once you park.
The Reception will be indoors, begining with mocktail hour while we take some family photos. Doors to the reception hall will open at 4:30pm. The reception hall has A/C, and will be a welcome cool down after the outside ceremony. Enjoy non-alcholic drinks and a quick snack while you wait.
When is the RSVP Deadline?
The RSVP Deadline is October 1st, 2026! If you look under the 'RSVP' tab and click 'RSVP' it will take you to a Google Form where you will fill in all of the necessary information.
Can I bring a Plus one?
Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay within the limitations of the venue. We appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
Will there be parking at the Venue?
Upon arrival at the front gate of Bastrop State Park, mention Stowe/Odom Wedding and the park ranger will direct you to The Refectory.
Are there Hotel Blocks or recommended Hotels?
The bride and Groom do not have a hotel block. However under the 'Accommodations' tab you can click on the 'Book' button and it will lead you to a website to book hotels in the Bastrop area.
Can guests take pictures during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present for this special moment. Our professional photographer will be capturing the ceremony, and we will gladly share photos afterward.
During the reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you like and share them with us later!
